Randy Neilsen - Owner
Meet Randy Neilsen, the proud owner and founder of RJ Painting & Decorating. Randy established the company in 2005 and has since built a reputation for providing exceptional painting services to both residential and commercial properties. With over 26 years of experience in the painting industry, Randy's expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to quality have earned him the trust and loyalty of his clients. What Randy likes most about RJ Painting & Decorating is the family atmosphere and that it is family-ran, which allows him to be able to work alongside his kids.
In addition to his work, Randy is a devoted husband and father to his three children: his son -Tyler, his daughter - Crystal, and his daughter-in-law - Abbie. He is also a dog dad to Lulu and a grandpa to his two grand-puppies, Ari and Nugget. As a dedicated and hardworking father, Randy has instilled his strong work ethic in his children, who are also part of the company. Together, they form a team of skilled professionals who are committed to delivering top-notch workmanship and excellent customer service. Randy's leadership and guidance have helped his team grow and succeed in the industry, and his personal commitment to excellence is evident in every project they undertake.
Jeremy Lockett - Foreman
Meet Jeremy Lockett, Randy's high school best friend, who has been a valuable member of RJ Painting & Decorating for over 10 years. As one of our foremen, he is an exceptional leader who oversees and manages a skilled crew of workers. With his extensive knowledge and over 15 years of experience in the industry, he ensures that all of our client's needs are not just met, but exceeded. We appreciate his hard work, dedication, and leadership, and we look forward to continuing to work with him in the future. His favorite thing about RJ Painting & Decorating is the quality of work and the work environment.
Jeremy grew up in Orland. He is a proud dad of his daughter and two sons. Outside of work, he enjoys photography, spending time outdoors, camping, hiking, playing instruments, and spending time with his friends and family. Jeremy's contribution to the crew has been invaluable. He has consistently demonstrated his hard work and dedication to his responsibilities, making him an essential member of the team. He always has a positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond his duties.
Tyler Neilsen - Painter/Lead
Meet Tyler Neilsen, Randy's son, who has been working at RJ Painting & Decorating for over three years. Tyler has been a valuable member of the team since he was young, helping out during the summers while he was in high school. He is proud to be a part of his family's company and is excited to continue working at RJ Painting & Decorating in the future and eventually carry on its name. Tyler is dedicated to delivering high-quality painting services to clients and his commitment to his work is a testament to his father's work ethic. Growing up around the painting trade and looking up to his father's work, Tyler has developed amazing skills, knowledge, and dedication to RJ Painting & Decorating and has become an important asset to the crew. Tyler's favorite thing about RJ Painting & Decorating is the family-like atmosphere and how well everyone works together and supports each other, which fosters a strong sense of teamwork and enables them to bring their clients' ideas to life. For Tyler, it is rewarding to see how their collective efforts transform a house into a beautiful home.
Tyler grew up in Orland and is now a proud husband and dog dad to his furry friend Nugget. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and dog at home and playing video games. Ethan Oliveira - Painter/Lead

Ethan grew up in Orland and Fortuna. He is a proud fiancé and dog dad to his puppy Ari. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, snowboarding in the winter, spending time at home watching movies, playing video games, and going on trips with his fiancée and their dog. With his commitment to excellence and attention to detail, Ethan consistently delivers high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. His passion for the painting industry and his willingness to learn and improve make him a valuable asset to the team. Crystal Neilsen - Office Administrator
Meet Crystal Neilsen, Randy's daughter, who has been a valuable member of RJ Painting & Decorating for over a year. Growing up around the company her entire life, Crystal is thrilled to finally be a part of it and contribute to its success. As the office administrator/secretary, she takes care of all office duties, including communicating with customers, scheduling estimates, and managing the company's social media and marketing efforts. Her strong organizational skills and attention to detail ensure that the office runs smoothly and efficiently. Her favorite thing about RJ Painting & Decorating is the tight-knit crew, working with her family, and the amazing clients!
Crystal was born in Santa Rosa and raised in Orland. She is a proud fiancée and dog mom. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, fiancé, and dogs: Lulu and Ari. She loves taking her pups to the lake and on trips with her family. Crystal is dedicated to her work and takes great pride in providing exceptional customer service. Her passion for her work and personal life makes her a well-rounded individual who is valued both in and out of the workplace. Additionally, her family ties to the company give her a unique perspective and understanding of the business.
